Energy to change the world
â€Geothermal†The Energy to Change the World is the theme of the 4th World Geothermal Congress that was just concluded with a large support to geothermal. The congress was held, at one the most beautiful islands of Indonesia, Bali, between 25th and 30th April 2010. WGC 2005 was held at Antalya, Turkey. One can see beautiful sculptures anywhere in Bali and “Garuda†( Picture) the chariot of Vishnu greets you everywhere in Bali
WGC is supported by a large number of leading geothermal companies and WGC 2010 was sponsored by companies like Chevron, Halliburton, Pertamina, Ormat. 2165 delegates attended the congress. The delegates include scientists and faculty from different academic and scientific institutes and R & D laboratories, geothermal companies, students and accompanying persons.
